Today we had the opportunity to go on a little excursion to the park. We set off walking, holding hands with our teachers and along the way we saw and heard lots of interesting things that we chatted about. Once at the park we had a picnic then enjoyed exploring the playground. There were things to climb, swing, slide and see-saw on. We finished with some running races before heading on the short walk back to kindergarten.

We came back from our summer holidays to a wonderful arrange of vegetables growing in our garden. The vegetables had grown so much since we planted them and were ready for eating. We found a number of cucumbers that were huge and needed lots of strong muscles to pick them off the plant. Red and yellow cherry tomatoes were plentiful and the radishes were huge. Our corn wasn't so successful, probably due to a lack of water, but it was fun to pick the cobs and strip them to see the corn kernels. Tasting the vegetables was a great experience and the tomatoes were especially yummy. I wonder what we will plant in our garden next? |
